What we do, and what we don't
What InspektLABS does
- Records your rental at pickup and drop-off
- Stores it with a timestamp and a tamper-evident hash
- Lets anyone verify a report is genuine and unedited
- Helps you assemble a dispute pack
What InspektLABS does not do
We are not insurance, not a law firm, and not a guarantee. We do not pay claims, reverse charges, or promise any dispute outcome.
How your evidence is stored
Media is uploaded over an encrypted connection to private storage. The original file is hashed so any later change is detectable. A separate copy of the still frames is kept for your report.
Camera & location
Your camera is used only while you record a scan. Location is optional — denying it never blocks a scan, and your report states clearly whether GPS was captured.
Data retention
Evidence is kept for 12 months by default so it is available if a charge appears late. You can request deletion sooner.
